What is SmartHub?
SmartHub is an innovative account management tool that makes managing your SPU utility account as easy as possible. It is one of the customer enhancements you will enjoy with SPU’s transition to a new customer billing system.
With SmartHub you will be able to utilize an app or the web to pay your bill, review your account, contact customer service and get the latest news – to name a few features! Enroll now!

Attention current online payment customers!
If you currently have recurring, online AutoPay payments scheduled through your credit, debit or bank accounts within Paymentus (eBill), you will need to register in SmartHub and re-enter your payment information. This information did not automatically transfer from Paymentus (eBill) to SmartHub.
PLEASE NOTE: In SmartHub you will not be able to select a custom payment date – all Auto Pay payments will debit on the monthly due date. This is different from eBill (Paymentus).

Auto Pay payments are timed with our billing cycles and must be setup prior to the next billing process. This typically happens the third week of every month. If you miss this deadline you will need to make a manual one-time payment for the upcoming bill. The Auto Pay feature will not go into effect until the following bill cycle.
If you are unsure if your bill will be automatically paid or not next month, please reach out to our Customer Service staff. They will be happy to check your account for you.
